MEET YURI

Nice to meet you I'm Yuri! I'm a passionate candle maker who was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and moved to Ireland in 2018. I have always been passionate about crafts and have explored various forms of art throughout through my life. Before candles, I used to make MDF (wood) boxes, string art, soaps, and so much more. I believe my attention to detail and love for creating beautiful, meaningful, and thoughtful things has been a constant source of inspiration.

During the pandemic, I found myself drawn to the world of making, something I was missing since immigrating. I've been always been fascinated by scents and their ability to evoke emotions and memories. The unique approach to candle-making involves using scents that are closer to natural smells in nature, creating some scent blends myself. I like to think that these candles are not just beautiful to look at, but they also have a unique and captivating scent that is sure to delight anyone who experiences them.

My background in marketing and love for crafts has undoubtedly influenced my creative process. I'm able to understand the importance of creating memories and reviving old ones through this olfactive experience. M.Y. Candles are not just a product, but a reflection of my own passion for crafts and the love for creating beautiful (and good smelling) things.
